Dr. Daniel S. Martin has been practicing orthodontics since 2003. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and values building lasting relationships throughout their treatment journey. Known for his upbeat approach, Dr. Martin believes in having fun each day while delivering the highest quality of care to every patient.
Dr. Martin earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He was also inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, in recognition of his academic excellence.
He completed his Master of Science in Dentistry and specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Indiana University in 2003.
Dr. Martin is dedicated to staying at the forefront of orthodontic treatment. He actively participates in continuing education to remain current with the latest advances in the field and regularly integrates innovative technology into his practice.

Dr. Martin’s clinical focus includes guiding proper jaw and tooth development and providing comprehensive orthodontic care that avoids unnecessary extractions whenever possible. His patient-centered philosophy blends proven methodology with modern tools to help patients achieve lasting, confident smiles.
Originally from Greenfield, Dr. Martin now lives in Columbus with his wife, Carrie, and their four children: Alex, Emily, Elizabeth, and Abby. Their family also includes two dogs, Goldie and Max, and two cats, Snowball and Whiskers.
Outside the office, Dr. Martin enjoys working in his yard, attending Indiana University basketball and Indianapolis Colts football games, and traveling with his family. Their favorite traditions include winter ski trips to Colorado and Michigan and summer getaways to the beach.

My daughter had tooth extraction appointment on Monday and she needed to take her wire off on same day before extraction. They made special exception for us and let us come to Franklin location even they were closed that day. I was really amazed and thankful for that. It also helped us a lot because of her school time and we did not have to make trip to their other location.Also one time they accidentally overcharged us. We did not even know about it but they noticed it themselves and gave us the credit back before we called them or asked anything. Nowadays you don’t see this often. Usually you have to notice yourself and call to get your money back. I really appreciate that they were honest and took care of it without us even asking.We are very happy with them and really appreciate all the staff and how they take care of their patients.
The staff are friendly and efficient. I was informed of each step of treatment and educated well.
